Frequently asked questions

What is a wobble stool?

A wobble stool — also known as a posture stool or standing stool — is an ergonomic seat with a rounded, weighted base that allows controlled movement while sitting. Its design encourages subtle wobble-style motion that keeps your body engaged and supports natural posture.

What makes the Wobble stool unique?

It turns sitting into movement. The Wobble stool engages your core and promotes active posture, helping you stay focused, energized, and comfortable throughout the day. Unlike a traditional office chair, this ergonomic stool adds gentle motion that supports your back and natural alignment.

What is the Wobble stool’s height range?

The Wobble stool adjusts from 22.4″ to 32.3″ with a single touch, giving you a versatile range for both lower and higher sitting positions. This makes it an ideal sit-stand stool for modern workstations and pairs naturally with any height-adjustable desk.

What is the weight capacity?

The Wobble stool supports up to 265 lb, offering safety-tested stability for a wide range of adult users.

What materials is it made from?

The stool features a reinforced polypropylene frame, a safety-tested Ergowave™ polyurethane foam seat, and a durable fabric cover. Every detail is designed for comfort, balance, and long-term use. High-quality materials ensure durability whether you use it as a balance stool or standing stool.

Is it easy to assemble and move?

Yes. It arrives in four parts and takes minutes to set up – no tools needed. Lightweight and compact, it’s easy to move wherever you need it. Its weighted, non-slip base keeps you steady on any surface – from wood floors to tiles or carpet. A simple design that works well in any ergonomic setup.

Is the Wobble stool suitable for most body types?

Yes. The Balance stool is designed for adult users and supports up to 265 lb. Its adjustable height and supportive seat accommodate different body types while promoting good posture and natural movement.

Can the Wobble stool be used with standing desks?

Yes. Its adjustable height makes it ideal for sit-stand setups, letting you switch between perching and standing positions throughout the day. It works especially well as a standing desk stool alongside any standing desk.

How stable is the Wobble stool during use?

The weighted base keeps the stool stable as you shift or lean, supporting safe, controlled movement. As a wobble stool, it allows gentle motion while staying securely grounded.

Does the Wobble stool require any maintenance?

Hardly any. Wipe the frame and seat with a soft, damp cloth when needed. The materials are durable and built for daily use.

Should I use the Wobble stool for short breaks or longer sessions?

Both. It’s designed for active sitting during focused work and short breaks. With consistent ergonomic support, the stool is suitable for both short sessions and extended use.

What warranty is included for the Wobble stool?

The Wobble stool includes a 3-year warranty covering manufacturing defects and mechanical components, including the base, gas lift, mechanism, and seat.
